Position Overview
The Part-Time Night Manager oversees janitorial and facility service accounts in the Tallahassee area. This role coordinates service providers, works closely with the Account Manager, and resolves customer issues to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
The Night Manager is responsible for quality control, contractor performance, and operational consistency across multiple facility types. This position requires independent decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
Work Schedule
- Part-time position
- Required hours: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Potential weekends required
- Must be able to work these hours exclusively
- Flexible schedule required

Required QualificationsEmployment Requirements
- Must pass background check and drug screen

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Facility management or commercial janitorial background
- Prior management experience, including:
- Coaching
- Motivating
- Developing teams
- Managing multi-unit or multi-location operations
Skills & Competencies
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Solid understanding of basic business math
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Essential FunctionsOperations & Quality Control
- Review scopes of work and ensure quality assurance per account
- Conduct inspections to ensure services meet client standards
- Manage customer complaints, service requests, and VIP needs
- Support new client starts and special service requirements
Contractor & Labor Management
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and in-house labor
- Communicate client priorities clearly
- Make recommendations for contractor assignments
- Manage performance to company guidelines and client standards
- Discharge contractors not meeting service level agreements
Communication & Reporting
- Communicate daily with leadership regarding urgent issues
- Complete nightly recap via email or phone message
- Report client concerns using sound judgment and escalation when necessary
Policy & Compliance
- Execute company policies, including:
- New-Start Policy
- Customer Complaint Policy
- Four Star Policy
- Other operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with:
- Client policies and procedures
- Approved cleaning tools and equipment
- Proper equipment usage
