C. T. Taylor Construction, an established and growing construction manager, is seeking to fill a key position. Located in Hudson, Ohio, C.T. Taylor, is seeking an experienced construction estimator for commercial and industrial construction projects in the Northeast Ohio Area.
Successful Candidates Should Possess The Following Attributes
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform labor and material take-offs
- Seek and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, including updating Bid Management System
- Prepare hard bid and conceptual estimates
- Prepare preliminary schedules
- Review jobsites
- Write proposals and presentation materials
- Work closely with project managers
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – (Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering Technology)
- Industrial experience a plus
- 3 minimum years of experience estimating in the construction industry
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and communication skills
- Experience with Timberline a plus, must be proficient in Construction Software and Office Products
- LEED® credentials a plus
- K-12 experience a plus
