Role Description
This is a contract role for an Insurance Sales Representative. The Insurance Sales Representative will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as identifying potential clients, providing customer service, selling insurance policies, and managing insurance portfolios. This is an on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, requiring the candidate to be present at the office daily.
Qualifications
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (Texas or applicable state) – required
- Newly licensed agents are welcome – training and support provided
- Comfortable with telemarketing and outbound calling to warm and cold leads
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and explain insurance products clearly
- Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-driven
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM tools, email, data entry, etc.)
- Experience in telemarketing, phone sales, or customer service is a plus
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow in a fast-paced environment
