Description
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Assists the Department Produce Manager with the successful operation of the department
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided
- Shared responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the department
- Receives, stores and stocks a wide variety of products
- Work directly with the Department Produce Manager in ordering product to meet the needs of the produce department based on past and projected sales
- Pulls out of date product from the produce areas
- Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation and productivity are maintained
- Be active involved with teaching, mentoring and educating associates to help them be successful members of the team
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or Store Manager
- Consistent and daily interaction with store associates, customers, and vendors
- Travel Required:No
- Store : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
- Specialized Knowledge : Basic computer skills
- Special Skills : Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
- Physical abilities: : Requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to; Regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries

- 5-7 : 5-7 years prior grocery operations or retail experience preferred
