Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate reporting of payroll information for warehouse employees and management. Responsibilities include general payroll tasks in the payroll department.
Flexibility to work any day of the week per business needs.
Starting rate of pay between $20 and $22 with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain programs effectively and correctly, including WFM, Red Prairie, Workday, and Workbrain.
- Track payroll compliance issues.
- Ensure weekly warehouse payroll information is completed accurately and timely for transmission to the Corporate Payroll department.
- Follow approved procedures to correct errors with employees' pay, including hourly, salary, and incentive pay.
- Assess causes of payroll errors and recommend solutions.
Work Environment:
Office: Temperature controlled (65F to 75F).
Required Skills:
- Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of common payroll practices, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills required; Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Years of Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma - General Studies.
Shift:
1st Shift (United States of America).
