We provide our clients with a comprehensive range of power and regenerative air sweeping, dust control, pressurized roadway washing, milling and trucking services which include environments such as; highways, residential roadway, subdivision streets, and new construction projects, municipalities,
airports, renovation projects, factories, and commercial parking lots.

C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. is growing, and we are currently seeking a Dispatcher at our Phoenix location.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Dispatcher is responsible for the tracking and availability of drivers and vehicles to support customers and operations. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage schedules, routes, and unexpected issues that arise during transport. The Dispatcher must be dependable, be a self-starter and have a “Can Do” attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
- Coordinate and monitor driver schedules, routes, and hours of service to ensure DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and management to provide updates on load status, delays, or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, vehicle use, fuel usage, and driver logs.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, or accidents and arrange for assistance when needed.
- Verify trip ticket calculations, writing trip tickets for specific customers and recording for billing preparation.
- Collect and calculate time sheets by verifying hours daily
- Create route sheets, maps and job sheets for operators
- Answer and manage incoming calls with customers
- Accurately document calls on phone log
- Build clear and prompt communication with customers, Sales Team, Estimating and others within the organization
BASIC REQUIREMENT:
- Must have 2 years of Dispatch experience
- Must have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Excel and Word)
- Must have good math skills; adding, subtracting, rounding (converting from minutes to 100th of an hour)
- Excellent communication and listening skills as well as legible handwriting
- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems quickly under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
