C & S Sweeping is hiring experienced CDL Class A Dump Truck Drivers for out-of-state projects lasting several months at a time. This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable traveling and working flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate end dump trucks safely and efficiently
- Haul materials including asphalt millings, dirt, and aggregate base (AB)
- Transport equipment via flatbed trailer (Super Kick Broom)
- Secure loads properly and perform inspections
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and job site safety requirements
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A (no air brake or manual restrictions)
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Manual transmission experience REQUIRED
- End dump experience preferred
- Experience hauling and securing equipment on flatbeds
- Clean driving record (last 39 months – must meet insurance standards)
- Must be willing to travel for extended periods
- Mechanically inclined (minor repairs as needed)
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment
- Physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs
