What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at C & S Machine Products Inc?
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for all general facility maintenance and repairs as well as maintaining all repair parts and ordering replacement stock as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Complete small general repairs within the facility as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Must work in a conscientious fashion, keep work area and equipment neat and clean and practice basic safety habits.
- Tie into the air system and create runs within cells and throughout the facility.
- Work with 110v electricity creating runs within cells and throughout the facility.
- Occasionally welding is required on small repairs.
- Assist with maintenance of equipment as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Use of lifts, booms, and lift truck is required for making repairs.
- Sometimes will need to drive truck to a local supply house to acquire needed materials for repairs in process.
- Will occasionally be required to drive items in need of repair to local companies and work with other professionals on specialty repairs.
- Safety of all repairs is the highest priority and any observations of unsafe situations within the facility such as machines, repairs or any other situation noticed should immediately be reported to the Director of Operations.
- Reports to personnel as described in the Company’s organizational structure.
