C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, remote Medical Claims Specialist in Jefferson City. Must reside in Missouri.
Salary/hours for Medical Claims Specialist: $18.50/hr.; Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- assisting providers and customers with concise interpretation and explanation of complex claims data
- communicating knowledge of MO HealthNet policies, regulations and procedures
- responding to phone, mail and email inquiries
- must reside in Missouri
- at least 2 years' experience in one or more of the following (healthcare provider relations, healthcare patient relations, insurance claims processing, medical billing, medical diagnostic and procedure coding)
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- previous knowledge of MO HealthNet policies, regulations and procedures preferred
