Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hardeeville, SC, for a Bridge Foreman at C&S Contracting Co. The Bridge Foreman will oversee daily construction operations, manage crews, monitor project progress, and ensure the quality and safety of all bridge and concrete structure construction activities. The role includes coordinating tasks, operating and supervising heavy equipment, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven Supervisory Skills, including leadership, team coordination, and ability to enforce safety protocols
• Experience with Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance in construction projects
• Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and management
• Proficiency in Carpentry as it relates to constructing and forming bridge structures
• Ability to perform and oversee Maintenance work and repairs on structures and equipment
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot construction challenges on-site
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and guidelines
• Related industry certifications or a background in civil engineering or construction management is a plus
