Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to play a critical role in supporting our Accounting team. This position partners closely with project managers and leaders to ensure accurate financial tracking, billing, and reporting throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Position Responsibilities
- Review and maintain projects in BST
- Review proposal and contracts to ensure proper billing procedures. Timely and accurate billing for designated projects
- Have knowledge of and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and collections
- Day-to-day general financial assistance for designated business groups ie: Timesheet and expense report review
- Monthly adjustments for proper financial recording
- Attend meetings with Controller and Managers to review financials of specific groups and projects
Skills/Education/Experience
- Displays a team mentality by interacting with and serving as point of contact for all personnel in designated business groups. Follows and adheres to the highest level of customer service expectation, for both internal and external clients
- Displays a positive can-do attitude and ensure that teammates are following company standards
- Prior experience with BST Enterprise preferred. Proficient in MS Word and Excel and Adobe.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem analysis, judgement and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as a team player.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
- Prior accounting experience of at least 5 to 10 years preferred
Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits
$62,000 - $79,000/year*
*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
