We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems related to HVAC and refrigeration setups.
- Read and interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to accurately troubleshoot system problems.
- Conduct field service work including appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and other mechanical tasks as needed.
- Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport parts or equipment between sites.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
- Proven service technician experience in property maintenance or similar field service roles.
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately.
- Skilled in plumbing, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration, and boiler operations.
- Experience with appliance repair and general equipment repair techniques.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installation or upgrades.
- Mechanical mechanic experience with a focus on maintenance tasks across diverse systems.
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties.
