What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Store Director position at C&R Supermarkets?
We are seeking an experienced an Assistant Store Director at our Macon C&R Supermarket. Previous retail, grocery store management experience preferred.
Can You:
- Handle Store Director duties in his/her absence.
- Provide quality groceries and customer service.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
- Motivate, schedule, and direct subordinates.
- Control and purchase inventory.
- Enforce Company policies and procedures.
- Interview, hire and manage associates.
- Follow company safety standards.
Bending, lifting, and standing required. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Are You Able to:
- Help increase sales and profits through proper merchandise and associate management.
- Be a role model for the entire store - setting the tone for both service and operations.
- Plan, organize and direct daily store activities.
- Monitor associate & customer safety.
- Ensure safe usage, proper storage & cleaning of all machinery & equipment.
