We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber's Helper to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the plumbing industry. As a Plumber's Helper, you will assist experienced plumbers in various tasks related to plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. Your role will involve working on construction sites, utilizing hand and power tools, and gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required.
- Help with HVAC installations and repairs when needed.
- Participate in remodeling projects by assisting with plumbing modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Provide support in field service calls as directed by lead plumbers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or construction plumbing is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency in carpentry skills is beneficial for remodeling tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Experience with pipe threading techniques is advantageous.
- A background in maintenance person services or general maintenance is desirable.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced plumbers.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
