Service Technician – Medical Equipment Delivery
Starting at $17.00 hr. | Employee-Owned Company
CarePro Home Medical-Coralville is looking for a full-time Service Technician to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes, perform basic repairs, and train patients on proper use. This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, problem-solving, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
For qualified candidates located in the Cedar Rapids area, we offer the option to start the workday from our Cedar Rapids location and travel to Coralville in a company-provided vehicle.
ü Must have valid driver’s license & insurable record
ü Post-offer background check, drug screen & physical required
ü Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
ü Prior experience in equipment repair or maintenance a plus
ü Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00 on-call rotation
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver medical equipment to patients’ homes using a company vehicle
- Set up, adjust, and demonstrate equipment for patients and families
- Clean, maintain, and perform basic repairs on medical equipment
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe company vehicle
- Follow all company policies regarding safety, security, and patient confidentiality
- Participate in evening/weekend on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or delivery (medical equipment a plus)
- Able to read and follow written online instructions (manuals, safety rules, procedures)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.; team lifts for heavier items
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
