What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A OTR Solo Truck Driver position at C.R. England?
Oklahoma drivers who want to cover real ground across the country, with loads planned around where they live, can settle into this OTR solo seat.
Most of what you haul is refrigerated, with some dry freight mixed in, and all of it is no-touch. Where you deliver and how long your hauls run depend on your home base, and some fleets run set tours so you get home more often.
You will work closely with customers and your fleet manager, so clear communication and a strong work ethic go a long way here.
The Freight:
- Primarily refrigerated goods
- Some dry freight
- No-touch loads
Routes and Home Time:
- Delivery locations vary based on where you live
- Haul lengths shaped around your residence
- Some fleets offer set run tours for more frequent home time
- Schedule varies by driver residence
Your Truck:
- Freightliner trucks three years old or newer
- Automatic transmission
- Pulling 53' trailers
- Equipped with the latest safety features
Support on the Road:
- A support team focused on keeping you moving instead of waiting around
- A safety culture backed by training and modern safety equipment
Pay Details:
- Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly
- Pay per mile (CPM)
- Pay is based on 1 years of experience to these OTR accounts
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 3 months of recent Class A CDL experience
