Overview
Contribute to the overall success of C&R Design Remodel by leading the company’s "Attract" and "Engage" inbound marketing stages. The Marketing Manager drives initiatives for company growth by managing all lead generation channels, overseeing content distribution, and ensuring a personalized, high-quality client journey from first touchpoint to sales hand-off. This role focuses on scaling marketing efforts for target project types while ensuring all processes are "Followed by All" and aligned with the current year’s business goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

LEAD GENERATION & INTAKE MANAGEMENT

  • Oversees the Multi-Channel Lead Intake SOP, ensuring 100% of inquiries from Website, Phone, Email, and Walk-ins are captured and logged within 24 hours.
  • Manages the "Master Lead Tracker" in the Company Drive and performs initial lead grading against Target Client Characteristics (home value, client demographic, project scope).
  • Develops and deploys targeted advertising campaigns to capture new markets, leveraging performance data to refine messaging and ensure a consistent pipeline of high-quality prospects.
  • Ensures a "concierge-level" response to all prospects, maintaining the company’s reputation for responsiveness and tailored client care.
  • Identifies "High Priority" leads (Marketing Qualified Leads) based on project minimums and coordinates seamless hand-offs to the Sales team.

CONTENT STRATEGY & DISTRIBUTION

  • Executes the Annual Marketing Calendar, including monthly staff-written blogs, monthly e-newsletters, and quarterly direct mailers.
  • Manages social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz) with a 3x weekly posting cadence highlighting project photography and client reviews.
  • Oversees the creation and updates of "Content Offers," such as Pricing Guides and Sales Brochure Materials.
  • Coordinates with photographers to ensure "Before" and "After" photos are captured and uploaded for all featured design-build projects.

COMMUNITY & OUTBOUND PROSPECTING

  • Drives company expansion by managing the Referral Program, aiming for a goal of 20 past-client referrals per year.
  • Represents C&R at community events, workshops, and networking groups
  • Develops and maintains strategic relationships with industry partners and local media for guest authorship and publicity opportunities.

ADMINISTRATIVE & ANALYTICS

  • Updates monthly marketing metrics, tracking website sessions, organic traffic, and lead conversion rates for Leadership Team review.
  • Manages the marketing budget (~3% of revenue) and coordinates with vendors for SEO, print materials, and signage.
  • Provides phone support and assists with showroom maintenance as a collaborative member of the office team.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend weekly design and/or sales meetings and any company meetings that are appropriate for position.
  • Work toward professional development through continuing education.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.

INTERACTION AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Reports To: Sales Manager
  • Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Environment: Primarily office; occasionally outdoors for community events or jobsite photography visits.

PROFICIENCIES

  • Communication: Excellent written skills for blog writing and newsletter creation; professional demeanor for client interactions.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs), social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Houzz), and CRM systems. Graphic Design Tools (Canva, etc.)
  • Analytical: Ability to interpret SEO data and marketing metrics to optimize project management practices.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to study and apply new information.
  • Possess a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality.
  • Exhibit a businesslike appearance and demeanor.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is highly desired.
  • Five (5) years of marketing experience, preferably within the residential remodeling or design-build industry.
  • Proven track record in content strategy, business development, and lead generation.
