Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Superintendent position. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of industrial mechanical and millwright projects, including managing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project schedules, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining quality control standards. The role also involves conducting regular site inspections, addressing and resolving project challenges, and ensuring full compliance with all construction plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in construction management, including advanced proficiency in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and the supervision of multiple crews and subcontractors
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, industry standards, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, and cross-functional project teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to proactively identify, address, and resolve on-site challenges while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule
- Advanced ability to read, interpret, and implement construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling platforms, and related project control tools
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-demand environments while managing multiple priorities and complex project requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction management or a related discipline is strongly preferred
- Extensive experience as a Superintendent or in a comparable supervisory leadership role within the construction industry
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the United States as project needs require
