We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial and residential settings.
• Maintain floors through buffing and other floor care techniques to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to management.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies used in commercial cleaning environments.
• Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
