Who are you?
You are someone who is organized and able to perform with acute attention to detail. We are searching for a Deposit Operations Representative to support essential back-office functions, including digital cash letters, remote deposit files, Lock Box processing, and the Proof of Deposit (POD) function. This role is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of deposit transactions, supporting internal teams, and upholding compliance standards. You could be responsible for:
- Analyzing data collected from various reports and determining appropriate necessary actions to perform essential, defined and time-sensitive duties and responsibilities for all Proof of Deposit (POD) functions.
- Processing incoming payments, verifying check and payment amounts match and resolving discrepancies such as posting, encoding errors, and cross-reference issues.
- Researching and resolving rejections, stop payment requests, disputes, and inquiries timely and efficiently.
Requirements:
You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND less than one (1) year of previous related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of May/June through the end of October.
