Job Title: Maintenance Service Technician (Northern Territory)
C.N. Brown Company is a Maine based family owned company that owns and operates 73 convenience stores, 26 heating oil offices and 11 service stations, delivering petroleum products into Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Northern Massachusetts. Our headquarters are in South Paris Maine but we have a maintenance shop that is at our Big Apple in Waterville that will be your “home base”.
Job Summary:
Now hiring Service Technicians to provide service and maintenance for fueling facility, service station, and convenience store equipment in our Northern Territory (Augusta North.) Experienced technicians preferred, however we are willing to provide paid classroom and field training to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Perform petroleum equipment service and installation calls in a professional, timely, and quality manner.
Mechanical repairs
Leak detection maintenance and alarms
Job requires frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching and standing
Use hand tools, various types of telecommunication instrumentation devices (training offered as needed)
Work in confined space
Weekend/holiday on-call rotation with other technicians
Must be able to perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs in convenience stores
Job Specification:
Education - High School diploma (or equivalent)
Strong computer skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Able to work as a team as well as individually
Positive attitude and attention to detail
Must be able to pass DOT physical
Certified Tank Installer (will provide paid training) preferred but not required
