Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
- Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling, and use of specialized cleaning tools to maintain high hygiene standards
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, checking them in/out, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas through regular cleaning routines aligned with hotel housekeeping management standards
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns
- Ensure all sanitation practices comply with hotel policies and health regulations to promote guest safety and satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including vacuuming, floor cleaning, and industrial cleaning equipment operation
- Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding chemical handling protocols and safety data sheets (SDS)
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and extended periods of standing or walking during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude to assist guests effectively at the front desk
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond swiftly in urgent situations
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality
