C.M. Mose & Son, a Southern Home Services Company, is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Associate to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Staging work orders
- Organize stock and maintain inventory
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Load and unload trucks
- Deliver materials to job sites using company vehicles
- Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Help process warranty claims
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical knowledge
- Comfortable using Excel
- Experience using forklift preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic automobile repair knowledge is desirable
- Persistence in conquering objectives
- Skill in both verbal and written communication
- Strong computer skills are essential, computer proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift or move heavy items
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
The physical requirements of this job include:
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
