What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse - Materials Handler position at C & M Machine Products, Inc.?
We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Materials Handler / Shipper-Receiver to support warehouse operations and keep production running smoothly. In this role, you’ll help receive materials, manage inventory, prepare jobs for production, and ensure accurate, on‑time shipments.
What You’ll Do
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and enter them into JobBOSS.
- Keep raw stock organized, labeled, and accurately inventoried.
- Prepare and distribute materials for upcoming jobs.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders using UPS/FedEx/WorldShip.
- Assist with OSP items and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- JobBOSS and Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Forklift/PIT certification preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle shifting priorities, and collaborate with production and supply chain teams
