Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Restoration Technician to spearhead restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, asbestos, and lead. In this vital role, you will lead a team of technicians through complex remediation efforts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. Your expertise will help clients recover from damage swiftly and effectively while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and execute restoration projects including water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and specialty cleaning.
- Perform work involving asbestos and lead-safe practices in compliance with state and federal regulations (if certified).
- Conduct job-site assessments, document work through photos and notes, and communicate job status clearly.
- Set up, operate, and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, HEPA systems, etc.).
- Direct and train crew members to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
- Maintain clean, organized trucks, tools, and job sites.
- Interact professionally with customers, adjusters, and team members.
- Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance on all job sites.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency response.
Requirements
- Previous restoration experience required.
- IICRC certifications highly preferred, such as:
- WRT – Water Damage Restoration
- FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration
- AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation
- ASD, OCT, or additional relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with asbestos or lead abatement (state licensing preferred but not required).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee field crews.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and regulated areas.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
