Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at C & M Electrical Enterprises Inc, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and installations. You will work closely with our project managers, electricians, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and up to code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for new construction and retrofit projects.
- Prepare electrical plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, and load calculations.
- Perform site inspections and provide on-site technical support.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure design intent is executed.
- Assist in project planning, material selection, and cost estimation.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide engineering solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in electrical engineering (construction or contracting experience is a plus).
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to field conditions.
- EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
