Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing for long periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

- Shifts Available: Full time M-F
- Day Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Meal Breaks: 30-minute unpaid meal period (client lunchroom available)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
