Experienced Auto Mechanic
C & M Auto Body II is a busy, established auto shop in Monroe, NY. We're looking for an experienced mechanic who can diagnose and fix cars start to finish.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose check-engine lights, drivability and electrical problems
- Brakes, suspension, steering and alignment-related repairs
- Engine and drivetrain work: timing, gaskets, cooling, belts, tune-ups
- Transmission-related work
- Fluid changes and exhaust work
- Inspections, general maintenance and more
- Keep a clean bay and clear notes on every job
What we need:
- 3 years hands-on experience as an auto mechanic
- Your own tools
- Valid, clean driver's license
- Comfortable with scan tools and diagnostics
- ASE certification a plus
- Reliable, on time, takes pride in the work
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Pay: $24/hr and up, depending on capability and experience. Benefits: paid time off, employee discount, room to move up.
