$22–$27 per hour, depending on experience
C LAZY B Land Development / JKS Farms is actively hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to support our land development projects. We are looking for operators with experience running a variety of heavy equipment who take pride in safe, efficient work and well-maintained machines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating heavy equipment such as scrapers, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other earthmoving equipment
- Performing dirt work, grading, trenching, and site preparation
- Working safely and efficiently alongside other operators and crews
- Completing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Adapting to changing job site conditions and project needs
- Following all safety procedures and job site requirements
Job Details
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Job sites primarily within 1 hour of Kearney
- Occasional statewide travel
- Lodging and per diem provided when traveling
- Daytime hours; overtime may be available depending on workload
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating heavy construction or earthmoving equipment
- Ability to operate multiple machine types preferred
- Strong safety awareness and respect for equipment
- Dependable, consistent attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Willingness to travel short distances for job sites
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL a plus, but not required
