Delivery Assistant (Part-Time)

Pay: $19/hour

Potential Shifts/Weekly Hours:

• Year-round & seasonal summer positions available
• No required weekends. Some evening/weekend hours may be available, if desired
• Generally, 6:30 am until done (typically by 4:30 pm)
• Up to 30 hours per week - Two or three days per week - Tuesday - Friday
• More than 30 hours per week for seasonal summer positions

Job Overview

Duties: Assist the driver with loading, delivering, and merchandising beverages and kegs at each customer location in the manner that complies with the customer’s defined expectations and/or requirements. Assist with checking product in at each account to ensure that products and quantities being delivered are accurate. Manual product handling is required. Essential Qualifications:

-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (within company standards).

-Ability to repetitively bend, twist and frequently lift up to 40 lbs. and move kegs, weighing up to 165 lbs., up and down stairs and over curbs utilizing a two-wheeled cart.

-Ability to obtain a forklift safety certificate.

-Ability to communicate in English effectively as to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers.

- Ability to arrive to work on time for all scheduled shifts and complete required work before leaving.

-Must pass pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screening (including THC/Cannabis/CBD).

-Ability to be courteous and respectful when interacting with customers, other drivers, sales reps and co-workers.

-Ability to follow policies and procedures.

-Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

-Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
