Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player to join our parts department! The Parts Department Assistant helps keep things running smoothly by checking in deliveries, making sure parts are accurate and in good condition, and keeping everything organized. You’ll also be reaching out to vendors for updates and helping track down any parts we’re waiting on. This role is great for someone who’s dependable, communicates well, and enjoys working both independently and with a team to keep repairs moving on schedule. Duties
- Utilize vendor portals and cold-calling for parts ETAs; relay all information to other departments in the shop
- Itemize and receive all incoming deliveries
- Set up parts for return and supervise outgoing parts with delivery drivers
- Mirror match incoming parts to parts removed from repairable vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with the department standards
- Assist in any other necessary departments as instructed by management, including (but not limited to cleaning and/or moving vehicles, garbage/cardboard removal, cleaning the shop, etc.)
- Contribute to a healthy work environment, work well with others, and follow directions
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
