Job Description

Ray's is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Deli Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving deli products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer requests and company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of deli equipment, counters, and work areas.
• Assist customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and fulfilling special orders.
• Ensure proper labeling and rotation of deli products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
• Stock and replenish deli cases and displays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and portion control.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
