Job Overview
As a Concrete Quality Control Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our concrete products. Your expertise will guide the implementation of rigorous quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with production teams to monitor processes, conduct inspections, and analyze data to maintain excellence in our concrete manufacturing operations.
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials and finished concrete products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality systems.
- Utilize coordinate measuring machines and vision inspection systems to assess product specifications and tolerances.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols in line with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and other applicable standards.
- Lead quality audits to evaluate manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to quality management practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports on quality control activities for management review.
Basic qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in quality inspection processes.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies such as QA/QC practices and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on concrete or similar materials.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and quality audits.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
