Position Overview
C&J Equipment Manufacturing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position helps receive, organize, track, and distribute materials, parts, tools, and supplies needed for production. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Organize and store inventory in the proper warehouse locations.
- Pull, stage, and deliver materials for production teams as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Label, sort, and track materials, tools, and supplies.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support other warehouse, yard, or production needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read labels, work orders, packing slips, and basic inventory documents.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to be trained.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.
- Must be reliable and have good attendance.
- Must be able to work safely and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to help where needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
