Must be comfortable with the store environment, cleaning the store, products in the store, and talking about store products.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the overall operations of the store.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
- Assist with stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries over the phone.
- Apply basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience with merchandising techniques and product stocking practices.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
- Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities within a team setting.
