Human Resource Generalist Job Duties:

·      Manages timecards and processes payroll weekly.

·      Audits payroll deductions and reconciles them against vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.

·      Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.

·      Assists with recruiting, interviewing and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

·      Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

·      Implements new hire orientation and onboarding program.

·      Schedules pre-employment and post-accident drug and alcohol testing and physicals.

·      Performs routine tasks required to administer compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.

·      Assist with the insurance renewal process and open enrollment.

·      Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.

·      Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, performance reviews, terminations, and investigations.

·      Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

·      Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

·      Collaborates well with Leadership and Ownership to create and implement policies, procedures and goals.

·      Manages worker’s compensation claims.

·      Assist with workers' compensation audits, general liability audits, and other audits as required.

·      Performs other duties as assigned.

The Human Resource Generalist will be subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing, as well as a pre-employment physical.

Human Resource Generalist Schedule: Hours may vary based on employee/organization needs.

·      Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

·      Nights and weekends as needed.
