On your next adventure, you’ll… Establish and maintain carrier relationships through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals Learn about carriers’ business goals, preferences, and capabilities to maximize relationships and satisfaction Monitor account activity, identify inactive or underutilized accounts, and take action to reactivate them Leverage technology such as automated booking products, C.H. Robinson’s carrier website, and mobile apps to enhance carrier satisfaction and efficiency Support Capacity Procurement Analyze freight market trends, seasonality, and supply-demand factors to make informed pricing decisions Use capacity analysis and internal costing tools to guide your buying and negotiating strategies Proactively post, negotiate, and secure available capacity to meet customer needs Deliver Exceptional Customer Service Provide outstanding service by addressing carrier issues promptly and implementing effective solutions Regularly review and act on carrier feedback to improve service Identify and recommend the best payment solutions for each carrier based on their needs Assist carriers with cash advances and resolve payable issues to ensure smooth operations Execute Process Efficiency Collaborate with internal teams on shipment updates, problem resolution, and operational execution Maintain accurate transit load visibility and reinforce on-time pickup and delivery expectations Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions to enhance performance You’re a great fit if you have: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Even better if you: Value a diverse and inclusive work environment Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (business, sales, marketing, supply chain, communications, or related major is a plus) Have experience using customer perspective to guide decisions and actions Can persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others Display strong decision-making, multi-tasking, communication and interpersonal skills Enjoy solutions driven work by leveraging appropriate tools to evaluate and make recommendations We value an environment where you can grow by challenging yourself and are supported with the potential for internal promotion – within Sales, Global Forwarding, Operations, Account Management or other areas – so you can discover new interests, develop your strengths, and reach your life goals. Compensation Range $25.48 - $31.25 The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
