CHILD, Inc. is seeking full-time Mental Health Manager for our Kent County Head Start/Early Head Start program. The Mental Health Manager works with a multi disciplinary team, including Education, Health, and Family Services. Interested candidate must be available to work during agency hours of operation at any one of our three locations.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical services to individual children and their families.
- Designs Kids Connect therapeutic service plans and provides on-going supervision and support to staff providing the service.
- Mental Health consultation including screening and assessment of children at risk.
- Participates in weekly multi-disciplinary team Case Reviews as Mental Health representative
Management Responsibilities:
- Ensures full implementation of program philosophy and all policies and procedures and ensures the differentiation of policy decisions and day to day operations.
- Directs and coordinates the roles and responsibilities of the staff in the day to day operations of the early learning programs.
- Provides ongoing and periodic supervision, technical assistance, and performance assessments of Family Service staff to ensure quality of services and continuous improvement efforts to promote optimal family outcomes.
- Supports education staff and other content Managers to maximize the social-emotional functioning of classrooms and individual children.
- Ensures overall delivery of high-quality services via strong oversight systems and data-driven decisions.

Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours; Full Year/52 weeks or Full Time – 40 hours; School Year/44 weeks
Part time hours will be considered.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8 hour shift (Hours of operation are 7:30am - 5:30pm)

Requirements:- Master Degree in Social Work
- RI Licensed Independent Clinician (LICSW)
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with very young children and families impacted by Mental Health and Behavioral Health needs
