Plant Helper

C&H Aggregates is looking for a plant helper to join our team! The laborer/helper will assist with production, perform general labor tasks, maintain plant housekeeping, assist with routine maintenance on plant and equipment and provide assistance in all areas of the plant as needed.  This is a night shift position; however, schedules may change from time-to-time, depending on business needs.  
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.  These duties include primarily shoveling spillage areas, also to include lubricating machinery, monitor the plant conveyors, shakers, crushers, feeders, and pumps, heavy ground maintenance, and inspect plant daily.
• Maintains yard and equipment
• Cleans conveyor belt areas and performs minor preventive maintenance and replaces worn/damaged components as needed. Assists with other maintenance as needed
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies, MSHA, TCEQ and other regulators
• Assist with operation of other equipment, such as skid steer and water truck, as needed  
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform duties with minimum supervision
• Performs other duties as assigned

Hourly rate depending on experience. Must be able to pass a drug test, pre-employment physical, and have a valid driver's license.
