C.H. Bradshaw Company is a fuel truck & trailer builder and equipment distributor since 1953 and family owned since 1989. The outside sales position focuses on maintaining relationships with current customers by following a set route plan while also developing new customers. Outside sales takes calls from customers regarding parts sales as well as new tank truck, trailer, and box truck sales.
The salesperson position traditionally is in the office one day a week and the rest of the week is spent on the road visiting customers and delivering sold items. Outside sales reps have traditionally supplied their own vehicles but we can provide a company van in the interim.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Deliver parts to customers while making your sales runs.
Skills
- Proven experience in account management and lead generation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on persuasive selling.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Familiarity Microsoft Office and CRM software and sales management tools is a plus.
