Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, and drywall installation to bring project visions to life.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and effectively to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and water damage restoration as needed.
- Install fixtures including cabinets, doors, windows, and hardware with precision.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols on-site.
- Support remodeling projects by performing demolition, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, caulking, and painting.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning.
- Strong background in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and CNC machinery for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Knowledge of roofing systems, siding installation (including stucco), drywall finishing, and fixture hanging.
- Experience in restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage restoration.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings for plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and metal fabrication projects.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and heavy lifting procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
