Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Execute vehicle repairs such as engine overhauls, transmission replacements, wheel alignments, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards, improve workflow processes, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Experience
- Automotive service center experience as a master technician or mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes, especially GM vehicles or similar brands.
- Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics.
- Skilled in using diagnostic software, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other repair machinery.
- Experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills and auto estimating proficiency.
- Additional certifications in automotive repair
Salary: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
