Applications must be submitted no later than Monday November 24, 2025 Special Education Teacher Assistant (K-2 Social Behavioral Classroom) // Creekside Elementary 5.9 hrs p/day // 9 months // Salary Grade 7 - $20.58 per hour (Support Salary Table [Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase] (Position may require physical ability to restrain students) GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the special education teacher, the special education teacher assistant supports the implementation of student IEP's (Individualized Education Programs) by assisting the teacher in five areas of service: instructional support, management and supervision support, personal support, assessment support and materials management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. High School diploma or equivalent education and/or experience. 2. District inservice training (required after hiring). 3. Basic knowledge of academic subjects. 4. Substitution or equivalent experience preferred. 5. The specific skills required of the assistant depend upon the assignment, the student's needs and IEP, and upon the established procedures of the supervising professional.) The following is required for TITLE ONE SCHOOLS: 6.
