Job Summary
The Senior VDC Coordinator supports preconstruction and project teams through leading
execution of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes across multiple projects,
focusing on model coordination and field execution support. This role is a key liaison
between design, trade partners, and field operations to improve constructability and reduce
risk through technology and collaboration.
Compensation
Compensation includes base salary plus eligibility for the standard company bonus program and profit sharing.
Salary Range: $100,000-135,000 - base salary plus incentive-based compensation:
· Eligible for discretionary bonus program and profit sharing as funded year to year
· Monthly Vehicle Allowance
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction & Planning Support
• Assist with constructability reviews, logistics planning, and early coordination
efforts.
• Develop 4D models and reality capture for existing conditions on select projects.
Develop Project Logistics
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Construction Teams to develop efficient and
safe logistics plans
• Create logistics plans using reality capture and 4D simulations for client
presentations and proposals
• Technology and techniques will evolve, support innovation and new ideas to
improve efficiency and effectivenes
Model Coordination & Clash Resolution
• Develop and manage federated models, perform clash detection, lead coordination
meetings, and track issue resolution.
• QA/QC & Installation Verification
• Data Management & Documentation
Construction Support & Field Integration
• Support superintendents with model-based execution
• Support LEAN planning and other scheduling efforts to support proper sequencing
• Assist with layout and model interpretation onsite
• Provide sequencing and logistics visuals
QA/QC & Installation Verification
• Support QA/QC workflows
• identify discrepancies
• assist with validation using reality capture when required
• Support as-built model development and digital twins as required
Data Management & Documentation
• Maintain organized model files
• Support digital project deliverables
• Support efforts to develop best practices
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5 years of experience in construction, VDC, or BIM.
• Knowledge of building systems with an emphasis on MEP systems, construction
sequencing coordination processes and LEAN planning.
Technical Skills
• Strong Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and
Reality Capture tools such as Faro and Leica Geosystems.
• Familiarity with coordination workflows and construction documentation.
• Familiar with a variety of Ai tools

Documents related to coordination. Operational support will be measured in the efficiency
of coordinated system installations. Innovation will be measured by new ideas and
adaptation of existing processes to new technology that improves quality, efficiency and
risk management.
Career Progression: growth into VDC Manager or other construction technology innovation
roles.
Physical Activities
This role is primarily office-based with frequent travel to job sites and partner locations.
Physical activities include extended periods of sitting, use of computer and phone, standing,
walking on uneven ground and climbing ladders during meetings and site visits, and
occasional lifting of light materials. Vision and hearing are required to effectively
communicate and review project documentation and operate technology equipment on the
