CNC Machinist/Setup Technician

As a CNC Machinist / Setup Technician, you will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in accordance with engineering specifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting both quality and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills) to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

- Adjust machine offsets and replace tooling as necessary to maintain part accuracy and quality.

- Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of machine settings and part inspections.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC machining and setup operations.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

- Strong understanding of CNC machine programming, setup, and operation.

- Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
