Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in supply chain management, inventory control, and customer service. This role requires a deep understanding of auto body parts and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Must be a team player and be willing to step outside your normal role to assist with shop workflow where needed.
Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department, including order fulfillment.
- Oversee supply chain activities, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of automotive parts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms effectively.
- Use of CCCOne to manage parts ordering, invoicing and tracking.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries and orders.
- Maintaining accurate data entry is a must.
- Other responsibilities outside of parts department at General Managers request
Qualifications
- Proven experience in parts management or a related field within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and procurement practices.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and OEM standards.
- Experience with CCC One is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in auto body repair or automotive repair preferred.
- Proficient in using order management systems for efficient processing of parts orders.
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
