What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refrigeration Technician position at C.D. Spivey Refrigeration?
Duties:
- Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems and components.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or wiring as needed.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for repairs and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role is required.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC/R systems, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in conducting troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on refrigeration systems.
- Experience with mechanical work is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
