Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, loading and unloading materials, and setting up equipment.
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by handing tools and materials as needed.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers.
- Carry out basic tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and transporting materials around the site.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Support project supervisors with miscellaneous tasks to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated beginners eager to learn.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures is advantageous.
