Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative with a strong technical understanding of fiber optic connectivity, structured cabling, or data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will support our sales team by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, coordinating logistics, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
You’ll work closely with both our operations and technical teams to ensure a smooth sales process from inquiry through fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer requests and provide timely, accurate quotes.
- Support outside sales and channel partners with product information, pricing, and technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for new business.
- Coordinate with logistics and production teams to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain CRM records, update forecasts, and track sales metrics.
- Assist with proposal preparation, bid responses, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management within the fiber optic, cabling, or data center industry.
- Strong knowledge of passive optical components (connectors, cassettes, patch panels, jumpers, etc.) and general network cabling practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Odoo).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with a team-first mindset.
