**Position Overview**
We are seeking a technically skilled, detail-oriented Biomedical Assembly Technician to help build and test our 2-liter and 4-liter Surgical Flush Machine models. This position involves mechanical assembly, light electrical work, refrigeration component handling, documentation, and quality testing.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components for surgical flush machines
- Follow detailed build instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Perform functional testing and quality assurance prior to shipment
- Manage and track inventory of parts and sub-assemblies
- Document build and test results accurately
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
- Collaborate with the design engineer to identify improvements for efficiency and reliability
- Assist in preparing completed machines for shipment to medical facilities
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical and wiring diagrams
- Proficient with hand tools, wiring, and heat-gun applications
- Basic understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems

**Work Schedule and Environment**

- Flexible project-based schedule (typically 2–3 months of full-time assembly, followed by slower documentation and testing periods)
- Initial hands-on training in Greensboro with current technicians
**Compensation and Benefits**
- Annual salary: $50,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience
- Flexible work rhythm and independent environment

- Start Date: Immediate – training begins November–December, full production resumes January 2026
